Victory Day

Just a quick post to honor the memory of both of my grandfathers, Ivan Andreevich Denisov (my Mom's Dad) and Ivan Vasil'evich Yershov (my Dad's Dad) who fought bravely in the Second World War. Today is Victory Day, which is a huge holiday for everyone in Russia, as that is the day Russian troops marched into Berlin and the Great Patriotic War was over (Russia was in World War II from 1941 to 1945). Both my grandfathers have passed away but I am thinking of them today and wishing they were still here...and thanking them for their bravery and courage.
