Monkey Business :)

Today August 1st, we went to Noah's 1st birthday party. His theme was monkeys, so I was waiting for today to let Emily wear this monkey top that she has been eyeing in her closet for the last month :)

The party was a blast! There were toys, food, a monkey pinata, Noah's own birthday cake, and lots of cupcakes for the rest of us....and generally lots of sugar for the kids.

At some point Emily discovered an Elmo phone and hung out with it for a long time.

I think this picture is hilarious.....she is trying to do something else but her eyes are fixated on that lollipop!

Toys!

Bows generally stay in her hair an average of 1 minute....she always finds them, yanks them off, and very often they end up in her mouth!

And here is a little video of Benicia showing Emily a jack-in-the-box type toy that all the kids loved playing with....she said you could get it at Target, I need to look, it was SO much fun to play with it!!
